Recorded in 2005, A Shade of Blue features the line-up of the band when it was known as Shade of Blue. Featuring Aaron Kosaka on rhythm guitar, this 10-song collection serves as a representation of the musical style of the band during the remainder of their time in Cypress, California (before relocating to Derek's apartment in Long Beach). This pretty much is an album to itself, and when viewed that way, this can be considered the second LP released by Charles! No Charles (although it was recorded first).
